This safari is operated using a custom-built 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for 360° wildlife viewing, high-clearance suspension, cooler box with chilled bottled water, binoculars, and onboard USB phone charging ports.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a morning hotel pick-up from your coastal hotel.
Travel to the Gede Ruins, a 12th-century Swahili settlement hidden within a coastal forest. Enjoy a guided tour as you explore ancient mosques, palaces, and coral stone houses while learning about Swahili history and culture.
After the tour, enjoy lunch (at a local restaurant or lodge).
In the afternoon, continue to Marafa Hell’s Kitchen, a dramatic sandstone canyon famous for its deep gorges and rich colors.
As the sun sets, experience one of the most spectacular sunsets on the Kenyan Coast, with golden and red hues lighting up the canyon — a perfect photo moment.
Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day boat trip along the Indian Ocean.
Enjoy activities such as:
Scenic boat cruising
Swimming and snorkeling (where conditions allow)
Relaxing on sandbanks or islands
Fresh seafood lunch (depending on location and tide)
